Sweet and Spicy Garlic Shrimp


1 lb large shrimp peeled
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp ketchup
2 tsp chili garlic sauce (available in most supermarkets in the oriental section)

1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup diced onion
3 dried red chilis (chinese or japanese)
2 heads baby bok choi chopped

In a bowl put the shrimp,cornstarch and salt. Toss gently and let sit 10 minutes
mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside
Heat the oil in a wok until hot. Add the shrimp, bok choi and onion and stir-fry 3 minutes or so until pink
add the garlic and chilis and stir-fry 30 seconds more
add the sauce and cook for 1 minute more until sauce is hot

serve over rice
